Back in Guatemala - Preparing for teaching

Hello friends! We have been back in Panajachel, Guatemala since June 28th, preparing for the next trimester of classes at His Hands and Feet Ministries in San Lucas Sacatepequez!

Thank you for your prayers for us and especially for Marcia's health. Thanks to the grace of God through your prayers, Marcia is much better after we made a sudden trip to the US to seek medical help from our family physicians. We are so grateful for all who have prayed and have given of their time and efforts to help us on that trip.

The cost of living has gone up considerably here in Guatemala, much as it has in the US and around the world. Airfare for our trip home was 3 times its previous cost. Gas is $5+/gallon, hamburger is over $5/lb, and dairy products have jumped considerably. We will likely need to increase our budget, as we have had to suppliment our monthly costs from our modest savings. Praise God that we have some savings to fill in the gap. We are grateful to all of you for your fiendship, prayers and sacrificial giving. Mostly we are grateful to God who is our provider. We are not worried because He is faithful and our trust is in Him. May the Lord Jesus be with you in His powerful, peaceful love!
