We walk, but God moves!

God has done great things! He could do no less. His ways are so different from ours, and yet he calls us to trust in His love, to give our lives, give up our self-dependence, and to follow Him! Why? Because He does love us and He knows what we need before we ask. We need Him.
Our northern Partnership Trek is drawing to a close for now. We have walked, but God has moved! He has moved in our hearts powerfully, as only He can. Once again He has shown us that Life is about relationships.
We saw many dear friends and met several new ones. We had times of fellowship, sharing, worship, praying together, and hearing of God's work in the lives of His children. We serve a huge, mighty, loving and very active God!
To all of you who prayed, gave of your time, your lodgings, and your food, we praise God for you.
Lead on!
Our walk will not end on this earth until the day He calls us home. This is good news! Oh, Lord, our wise and good Shepherd, lead us all and give us strength to do your will. You are gracious to humble us with your love, your correction, and your blessing.
"He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?" Micah 6:8 NASB
"He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters." Psalm 23:2 NASB
"He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way." Psalm 25:9 NASB
"...we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;" Col 1:9b-11 NASB
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corr. 15:58 NASB
"...for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Philippians 2:13 NASB
We must be immovable in faith, and therefore allow our Shepherd to spiritually move us. As we walk, He works in us for the glory of His Name.
